Individualised support
Every child is different, each has their own interests, strengths and weaknesses, specific learning requirements and preferred learning paths.
We learn together, but not necessarily the same content at the same time, at the same pace and using the same methods.
The learning environment at AIS creates the conditions to enable students to follow their own paths and thus realize their full potential.
The basis for this is a careful and broad view of our pupils - we take time to get to know each child and their personality.
Thanks to the excellent teacher-student ratio, there is enough time for individual interactions, discussions, reflection and targeted support. Trusting cooperation with families also plays an important role here.
In addition, our learning concept always offers room for individual preferences and questions, both during free work and in research-based learning activities. We design our lessons collaboratively, and our pupils have real creative freedom.
This approach encourages independence and lays the foundation for successful lifelong learning. Individualised learning paths are a daily and natural part of our learning.
It's not about isolated 'support' for apparent differences, but about fostering flexibility and diversity within our school and class community. This doesn't come at the expense of developing social skills. On the contrary: by making their own decisions, students learn to respect others' learning paths and to learn with and from each other.
